Inspiration

Amidst the pandemic's uncertainty, photography became my sanctuary, a medium through which I found solace and rediscovered the beauty in the mundane. My creative spirit was reignited, focusing on the everyday, the skies, and the sun's intricate patterns. This passion for street photography truly blossomed in June 2021 when I embarked on a mentorship program with the esteemed street photographer Vineet Vohra in Delhi. Under his guidance, I learned to perceive the world with a refined lens, feeling, reflecting, and embracing life's profound beauty.

Journey

In the heart of Old Delhi, my purpose as a street photographer crystallized: to immortalize the essence of everyday life. Each photograph I capture is a dance of moods, textures, and tones, a unique moment suspended in time. My work blends intricate layers with stark juxtapositions and cinematic simplicity, capturing the subtle nuances of life. This journey has been transformative, teaching me to focus, feel, and imagine in exhilarating new ways. The thrill of seizing the perfect composition or a fleeting expression is unparalleled. Although my travels for workshops have been extensive, Old Delhi remains an inexhaustible inspiration, revealing new stories and mysteries at every corner. My dedication was recognized in 2022 at the IPA awards, and by 2024, I was honored with a LOBA nomination, cementing the impact of my artistic journey.

Impact & Life Philosophy

Through my lens, I've embraced a philosophy: to truly see, one must first feel. Each image stands as a testament to photography's emotional power, resonating deeply with both subject and observer. Amidst Old Delhi's vibrant chaos, I find beauty in the ordinary—moments of laughter, wonder, and quiet solitude. This exploration taught me patience, empathy, and genuine engagement with the world. Street photography has transformed my perspective, allowing me to appreciate life in all its raw, unfiltered beauty.

Equipped with a Leica M10-R, Leica M11 Monochrome, Leica MP (Film), Summicron 28mm, Summaron 28mm, and Summilux 35mm, I translate this philosophy into art, each piece a reflection of my connection with the world.
